33rd Season!

Welcome...

For 33 years the Early Music Guild has brought the greatest performers of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music to Seattle audiences.

Our next International Series performance is Sequentia: The Rheingold Curse, on Saturday, January 23, 8 pm at Town Hall.

Taken from the ancient Icelandic Edda legends, The Rheingold Curse is better known as the plot material for Wagner's Ring operas. Director Benjamin Bagby presents this semi-staged saga of greed and revenge with Agnethe Christensen and Lena Susanne Norin, voices; Elizabeth Gaver, Medieval fiddle; and Norbert Rodenkirchen, flutes and lyre. The Rheingold Curse is sung in ancient Icelandic with English supertitles.
